In spring 2009 Danske Naturister (Danish Naturists" has released a small three-language leaflet about "Beach Naturism". English title is "Guide to naturism on Danish beaches", in Gearman it is "FKK am Strand in Dänemark" and in Danish "Naturisme på stranden i Danmark".

The national organisation "British Naturism" has produced a generel leaflet about naturism in GB: "What is Naturism?".

Bare books

Nøgen naturligvis! - en bog om naturismen i DanmarkIt is easy to be a naturist - You don't need a lot of equipment. Just shed Your clothes. But where to do it without offending other people, and without feeling exposed? How do You act abroad? How do You get in contact with other naturists? How do I involve my best friends, my kids, my better half? Must I tell my collegues that I'm a naturist?

There is a lot of information on the net, but there is also numerous books that can be a good help.

Nøgen naturligvis! (Naked naturally!)

This is actually the only relevant Danish book about naturism. Stine Josefine Frederiksen published in 2005 this book in collaboration with Danske Naturister (Danish Naturists).

"Nøgen naturligvis!" is available in bookshops in Denmark, or buy it from Danske Naturister (ISBN: 87-990560-0-3).

Fuerteventura - Solelskernes Paradis

Fuerteventura - Paradise for sun lovers

Not really a book, but a CD containing a book. It was written by Jørgen Weinberg, whom also maintains a homepage about the CD and Furteventura. The CD covers anything a naturist needs to know before visiting the island in the Canaries.

Foreign books

In English language there are many good books on nudism and naturism.

Bare vacations

The Danish newspaper BT published on the 21th June 2006 a theme about sun and summer:

More and more danes travels south to make nude recreation.

Naturist hollidays is set to go main stream. Every year thousands of danes - manily families - goes on naturist vacation under southern sun.

For more than a century health enthusiasts has practiced nudity because of health ideals. These years naturism is experiencing a new popularity in swimming facilities, spas, camping sites and holiday resorts abroad as an alternative to the unrealistic ideals of beautiness.

Today naturism is more about social unity and the possibility of acceptance as you are than about health ideals.

France and Croatia are the most popular

With more than 1.5 million naturists every year France is the country in the world that is most ready to welcome the naturists.

Today there are more than 85 holiday resorts specialiced in naturism, especially in the warm southern France.

Kilts - freedom for naturists

{mosimage}When you have once experinced the freedom of walking around without any clothes on, many naturists feels that traditional trousers and underwear are not really comfortable. Maybe the answer to this is a kilt. A small American company has a great success in designing and selling casual kilts.

The kilts are not traditional Scottish kilts made from wool, but primarily from cotton/polyester. They come in many colors and with different selections of equipment as pockets, but also more special models that looks like sportswear og even a tuxedo is available. The kilts are sold under the slogan "We sell freedom".
