Maybe the answer to this is a kilt. A small American company has a great success in designing and selling casual kilts.

The kilts are not traditional Scottish kilts made from wool, but primarily from cotton/polyester. They come in many colors and with different selections of equipment as pockets, but also more special models that looks like sportswear og even a tuxedo is available. The kilts are sold under the slogan "We sell freedom".
