The first World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) was held in 2004, and in 2008 Danmark for the first time is on the WNBR World Map, that now covers 70 cities in 20 countries.

WNBR is pure nude joy of life on two wheels. For many of the participats it is just another fun ocation to some social nudity, with the spice of a nearly legal way of promoting uncerimonious nude life style. But WNBR actually has a sort of a political message. It is about pointing out the inappropriate in unnessecary burning of non-renewable fossile fuel in situations where the bicycle is a better means of transportation than the car. It is not a condemnation of the car, it is just a request to use the bicycle and other /imagesnon-polluting means of transportation in the city traffic.

The message is written in the sentence: "We protest aginst oil dependence and celebrate the power and individuality of our bodies".

"Naturists are naked when it feels natural" - that is the essence of a slogan on the homepage of Danske Naturister. And it is not exactely a public indoors swimming pool that most people thinks as the most natural environment. Many poople swimming naked at the beaches during summer couldn't imagine being naked in a public indoors pool, but on the other hand - when one have first come to like swimming naked, it just feels odd to take on clothes to go into the water - even when you have finished undressing and showering in the locker room of the swimming facilities.

When the summer is over, and/images the next opportunity to be naked outside your home seems far far away in the future. When you discover that going to the public swimming pool is not as fun as it used to be because you have to wear a soggy swimsuit, then is the time to consider naturist swimming.
